A house thats says a million stories

Blogg: A HOUSE THAT SAYS A MILLION STORIES...

The day before my meeting, I texted my friend "anonymous" when I can do my presentation , then he said ,just come over to my house and have a coffee then we can discuss and he said, lets just meet in my house " MAS MALIWANAG AND WE HAVE A TABLE SO WE CAN DISCUSS WELL , COZ SA SHOWROOM CRAMPED AND MADILIM".

So my agenda for the day was to clear my schedule and meet with a friend and do a presentation . So much more to say , since his business is into furniture what else will I expect, a fabulous house with wonderful pieces, but what i saw was more than wat i'm expecting! Every pieces speaks for itself.

While standing at the gate I looked across the street then daw this pile of plants which I was convinced that this is their plants as well, you can just see by the way plants are put togther and the logs.

The helper opened the door then I walke inside and saw the facade facing the garage, but that is not the main door. i just didnt get to take a picture of their main door but its so nice and so artsy too! So i looked at my left the stone garden strucked me! I just love the black granite tiles they used as well as the stepping tiles for their stone garden, wait this is just the front part of the house, more details and more gardens around the house.

Sorry , I didn't get to take the photo of their main door, but it was very nice too, so when I went inside I saw Tall Narra framed glass sliding doors. The place was divided into several parts but is all divided by Glass frames , so its still look really huge and the height of the ceiling its like more than or around 20 ft. A house with really high ceiling just makes it look more roomy and huge! in short it looks tall an the ventilation is perfect! and from the inside I can see their Koi pond around the house.

The first question I asked my friend was . who is your architect and your Interior designer, because as i look around the house everything was placed and designed perfectly! no boring corner! every corner have interesting pieces! So he answered me "RAMON ANTONIO" wow! I was like whew! now I can say that I have witnessed and saw a house built by Architect Ramon Antonio. I knew him because of Kris Aquino which she's a public figure and you can just read articles about her house and who build their house. All I can say is WOW!

Guess what's my next question ? Well with a nice elegant house the next question is , how much did you pay him and how much did the is the total amount to finish a house like this! Well its like lets just put it this way, your budget has to be "SKY IS THE LIMIT" and not only that maybe your limit is not what you would even imagine...*

At first I was just asking my friend about the house and looking around the house, and i just cant help it and I told him , can i take a photo of it and blog about your house and seeing the falls just give the effect of a relaxing mood. The lines around the house where the falls and the koi just give more length to the house.

Upon entering the powder room, I just love how it looks like. there a drama I love how they put the tiles together in black and white, you can just see in the photo how high the ceiling, they can even hang a hanging light as high. The ceiling have a nice drama. its not just the plain boring ceiling. the house have lots of mirrors and glass panels. for the mirrors, it not just plain mirror, the designer made a nice lay-out for the cuts of the glass.

Powder room - the koi on top of the glass stand just gave a continuity of the koi outside the pond, because when you stand in front here. on your right its all glass... from top to bottom and you can see the pond with the koi's.

This is just one of their room. this is enclosed , but this room have nice pantings too. and just some of the collection they usually buy when they travel.
This area is where when you enter the main door you can see this very nice sculpture and a stone garden made by Daniel Dela Cruz ----its a relaxing feel a tall glass panel
I love the plants in the stone garden , really huge plants. *
Another art piece that struck my eye. This came from Angkorwat - Angkorwat is a abandoned city , and he got this from antique traders from Bangkok. He told me , you can see this in tomb raider, are you familiar with that?
Another outdoor spot by mere looking at it , you'll wonder what is this for? well this is the smoking area, where the 2 elephants have 2 candles that they can light up if they have any guests who are smoking and then oriental piece there is where the smoker will seat. such a cut discreet area...
A huge gong with a pumpkin head with a stick for hitting the gong
These accessories are real! tribal jewelry from North part of China as to what you can see the one in front is a bangle m then at the back its a tribal necklace.
Baccarat Jars from Paris 1999 made by Marie Louie jar is hand made, no identical vase.
The Minotti sets
A nice art piece that have identical piece opposite side of this
More tribal collections
An art piece again , its made out of metal, i love it and gives drama to their dining room.
The Dining room. where the chairs are made by a designer / artist , the one who does Malacanangs' chairs. its so perfect and so nice and elegantThese little pineapple bottles , so cute . well they didn't want it to be displayed like a pc. or 2 but they like to be displayed as like a group. so it would look nicer.
Another old jar from thailand, this is the Sukothai
More art pieces that i worth keeping.
Cassina Table - a Classic piece. These round glass table is nice , but when you look at the legs of the table much nicer!
Another gong on top of the Cassina table and also antique jars
You can just see how old the jar is.
The view from the the stairs going down from the second floor, another sets of minotti chairs.
A window panel he got from Thailand and had it framed to put a drama on it.
A lamp from Ikea inside the kids room.
In the kids room there was a mural made by his friend, its no nice, i didn't thought that it would look nice to have a mural inside the room.
Another art piece made by a female artist.
I like this set. at the foot of the bed.

jars made by Jonathan Adler

So thats the tour of the house! All i can say is no matter how big or small a house , if all the pieces in the house have special meaning or historical it adds drama for the entire look. so old pieces and the best collection that we can always have.

Thank to my friend who entertained and served a wonderful coffee. love the taste and the story of each pieces inside the house!
